Managing Director, New York
Rob Kanzer is a Managing Director in the Firm’s New York office. Rob brings over 15 years of experience and has a broad background in municipal finance, working with universities, municipalities and not-for-profit institutions. As a member of Prager’s financial advisory practice, Rob provides day-to-day advisory services for the Firm’s public and private university clients. His role includes transaction management, rating agency strategy, debt capacity/affordability assessments, central bank development, policy development and board education.
His background includes seven years with Citi’s public finance department where he assisted not-for-profit borrowers with developing swap portfolio management strategies and enterprise risk analyses. Prior to joining Citi, Rob also worked in the public finance departments at First Albany Capital and Bear, Stearns & Co. Rob graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. He is a FINRA Registered Representative.
